Our team calls Sussex County, Del. home and we live and breathe base ball. We are always on the look out for new members and others who would want to help out with umpiring, scorekeeping, and baseball research.

The earliest known game of base ball played by a Lewes team occurred on Febraury 28, 1874 in a match against Milton. The outcome is unknown. Our team reconstituted in 2012 and became an independent entity in 2019.

The Lewes Base Ball Club promotes the enjoyment and understanding of the history of baseball in southern Delaware through educational programs, research, and period games.
