national championship of historic base ball - 2026
Lewes is proud to host the National Association of Historic Base Ball Club's 2026 National Championship in Coastal Delaware at Hudson Fields. Come out and enjoy base ball as it was played by the rules of 1864. Parking and admission is FREE. Thank you to our season sponsor Dogfish Head Craft Brewery. Special thanks to the State of Delaware for its support of the Festival!

Each member of a participating club will recerive a drink ticket for a special gathering at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, Del. Friday evening, Sept. 18 with food and other drinks avsilable. Additional plans for Saturday evening Sept. 19 are underway.
Daily game schedules will be posted soon.

Tournament Lodging:
Room blocks have been reserved at the Rehoboth Beach Residence Inn and the Fairfield Inn. To make a room reservation at one of these two properties, please contact Kate Galloway directly at 302-386-8630 or kate.galloway [at] marriott.com. Both facilities are approximately 15 minutes from the fields and 10-15 minutes to downtown Rehoboth Beach, downtown Lewes, Dewey Beach, and Cape Henlopen State Park.

Accommodations can also be found in Georgetown (approx. 20 minutes from the fields), Millsboro (approx. 30 minutes from the fields), Milford (approx. 20 minutes from the fields), or further along the Delaware and Maryland beaches in Bethany, Fenwick Island, or Ocean City (heavy traffic possible).
